The Virtual Extension and Research Communication Network (VERCON) in Bhutan
sets the ground to link research and extension (R&E) communities using new
information and communication technologies (ICTs) complementing traditional
information and communication systems.
VERCON is a conceptual model of the
Food and Agriculture Organization of the
United Nations (FAO). It has been adopted by the
Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) to enhance
agricultural advisory services in Bhutan.
